…enough is enough…

Do you still remember my last post about selfie and the challenge to take #selfie3xsehari for one full week? It turns out that we have to call it quits on the 2nd day because we just can’t take it anymore. It’s just too hard for us, people who don’t even do one selfie in a month. From the theme, the pose, the number of selfie in a day, those really make all of us agree to end it way earlier than what we’ve been discussed.

We give all of our thumbs up to you, people who can’t live without a selfie, especially those who can post it in their social media account for more than 3 times a day. We think that it’s better be given a challenge of posting our food than this one.

Here are the photo grids of our selfies

1st selfie: only Chika remembers the theme, flower!
2nd selfie of the day: Ayu with her daughter’s flowery headbands and I wear pink rose earrings
4 out of 5 use the same flower 🙂
Selfie theme: In a toilet, but Jaja still uses the yesterday’s theme

Selfie theme: Fruit. And Merry can’t even tell the difference between fruit and vegetable for a chili.

…do you take a selfie?…

I’m pretty sure that most people these days, particularly those who have a social media account, take a selfie. What makes it different is how many selfie in a day that you take? Me and my inner circle, we have one thing in common. We rarely take a selfie. That is why, when we see our friend in our newsfeed/ timeline, having a selfie for more than 3 times a day throughout the year, it’s too much for us. Especially when we think they have no other pose and all of those selfies are taken only from one angle because well, they think it’s their best angle.

But, those people too that make us to have this kinda challenge. We, people who rarely take a selfie, challenge ourselves to take a selfie for 3 times a day in a week with a hashtag #selfiesehari3x and to make it more fun, we wanna do it with a theme.

This below collage is our starter, taken this noon in between their activities. Clockwise from left to right, top to bottom. Ayu is just finished eating in her car, Dewi is in her house in Auckland, Iting is ready to go to bed somewhere in Peru,  Merry is using her old picture (but actually, her looks doesn’t change at all), me while riding an Uber on the way home and Chika eating her lumpia to make Dewi drools and crave for it.

It’s not our friends that become our concern. We don’t care if they’d fed up with us because even we fed up with our friends who overdose in doing their selfie, we still keep them as our friends. But it’s ourselves that we mostly concern about. Can we do this challenge? Three selfie a day in a week is not an easy task.

May we pass this challenge 🙂
